Killiebrae Jet is a daughter of Ben (ISDS #220939), a member of the 2002 English National Team and 5th in the International Supreme Final.
Jet is an exceptional hill dog and was Angie's main work dog. She has incredible stamina, great heart, and is fleet of foot when required. She can go all day long and want for nothing but to continue. This dog simply never tires - ever! Her enthusiasm is boundless; a trait she appears to have passed on to her pups.
Jet is able to handle large flocks with ease. She loves to drive sheep and will not let a single one escape from the flock. She is gentle when moving lambs but when working with tups, the tups know - just from a glimpse of her eye - not to mess with this bitch. She also has a huge outrun, sheds well, and can easily hold a single.
Jet has been to three trials to date finishing a respectable 5th in her first try, 2nd in her next one with Angie, and 6th overall in the Westmorland League's Sterling Cup.
Jet was sold in October 2008 because our circumstances prevented her from working as much as this dog needs to. Rather than have her sit in her kennel or twiddle about with training sheep, we made the difficult decision to find her a new home with plenty of work for her. We sure miss her but know we made the right decision for her. We have kept several pups from her second litter of pups and Ace from her first litter. Nothing can replace Jet but we hope the latest additions show as much heart as Jet.
