Tuque is a daughter of Geri Byrne's (USA) Ted (Con McGarry's Clifton Taff x Crangh Floss) and Lyn. Her name, which rhymes with 'spook', is in honour of her Canadian upbringing. Canadians commonly refer to a wooly hat as a "tuque" - a french word for hat. Since this little bitch arrived at our house in -35 degree Celsius weather, we decided to call her Tuque.

Tuque is a full sister to Meg, but a year younger. Tuque has started her training and is progressing very well. She is a small and very quick bitch with a nice natural outrun, nice shaped flanks and a keen feel for her sheep. Tuque loves taking a small flock of sheep for a walk around the hills, and is very enthusiastic when she gets to go gathering with her idol, Blade.

Tuque is Kelvin's nursery prospect for the 2008/2009 season.
