Tuque is a daughter of Geri Byrne's (USA) Ted (Con McGarry's Clifton Taff x Crangh Floss) and Lyn. Her name, which rhymes with 'spook', is in honour of her Canadian upbringing. Canadians commonly refer to a wooly hat as a "tuque" - a french word for hat. Since this little bitch arrived at our house in -35 degree Celsius weather, we decided to call her Tuque.Tuque is a full sister to Meg, but a year younger. She is now back in the U.S.A. and will be trialling in nurseries with Scott Glen in 2009.
