Since arriving in the UK, we spent some time living on a hill farm in Southern Scotland and then moved to Wales where we now call home. The hill farm we lived on had about 5,000 acres of demanding hill terrain and 2,200 Scottish Blackface sheep. This was an excellent training ground for our young dogs. The variety of terrain has given us wide scope to extend the skills and experiences of our dogs in every aspect of their work with stock.
We moved to Wales in April 2008 and at the end of May 2009 we moved to our own farm
in a beautiful, quiet and sunny spot close to the Brecha Forest.
Being enthusiastic trail and fell runners, the running terrain here is spectacular and diverse. All runs involve hills! The country roads are quiet to run on and safe to take the dogs with us. There are many trails to run on as the western edge of the Brecha Forest borders our top hayield - perfect for running.
You know you've reached our little piece of paradise when you see this sign at the start of our driveway. If you have GPS, you can find us at SA32 7JG. GPS gets you to within 300 yards of our place. Keep driving till you see the sign.

From Carmarthen
From Carmarthen, take the A485 towards Lampeter. You will go through the towns of Peniel, Rhydargaraeau and Pontarsais. Just after Pontarsais, you will go down a hill and as you start up the hill on the other side, you will see a road sign for Brechfa and Llanllawddog, turn right at this sign (there is a bus shelter on the right hand side of the road just near this turnoff). Follow this road for about 6 minutes until you see the sign for Kinloch Sheepdogs. Turn left into our driveway - and remember to close the gate behind you!
